Step 1

Watch the DVD, the DVD will illustrate basic kite control – giving you drills to practice on your trainer kite and demonstrating how these skills can be transferred to a full size kitesurfing kite. Then get out there and practice the drills on your trainer kite. Ideally you should aim to spend 10-20 hours flying your trainer kite before moving on to the next step.

Step 2

Return your Kite to Airborne and trade in your trainer kite on a full size kitesurfing package.

When you trade in your trainer kite you will receive the full amount you paid for the kitesurfing pack off the price of your kitesurfing package plus you get to keep the DVD

Step 3

Included in your Kitesurfing package will be a kitesurfing lesson voucher.

It is imperative that before you use your kite that you take lessons from a trained instructor. This is where all the hours you spent practicing your flying skills with your trainer will pay off. All the skills learnt will transfer to the full size gear allowing you to progress much, much faster. Once your instructor is happy with your skills - get out there and have fun! With a solid understanding of the fundamentals of Kitesurfing you will progress very quickly.
